Title: Cauliflower and Potato Bake
Description: This is a simple meal, similar to Cauliflower cheese and, since it’s summer, can be microwaved. It’s nice to serve this with meat or chicken.Serves: 2
Ingredients:1 lb potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced. Salt and pepper. 1 small cauliflower, cut into flowerets. 1 garlic clove (peeled and crushed). 1 pinch grated nutmeg. ½ cup cream. 3 Tbsp. grated Cheddar cheese.

 

Instructions:
Cook potatoes in salted water for five minutes and drain well. Layer alternately, with the cauliflower in a greased ovenproof dish. Stir garlic and nutmeg into the cream, and pour over the vegetables. Sprinkle with cheese, cover and either bake in 350 oven for 40-50 minutes, or microwave 15-20 minutes on high, or until potatoes are cooked. Uncover and brown under grill.
